James Deal, Warden

Facility Leader: James Deal, Warden

James Deal was named warden at Lake City Correctional Facility in March 2021. Previously, he served as warden at the formerly CoreCivic-operated Silverdale Detention Center. Deal joined CoreCivic in 2019 as assistant warden at Silverdale Detention Center. Prior to joining CoreCivic, Deal worked at the Georgia Department of Corrections, where he retired as a warden.

Deal holds a certificate of criminal justice from Columbus State University. He served in the Georgia Air National Guard for 12 years.
