Facility Leader: Brandy Baptiste

Brandy Baptiste currently serves as facility director at Austin Transitional Center. Previously, she worked as operations monitor at the Texas Civil Commitment Center. Baptiste began her career in corrections as a juvenile detention officer for Travis County Juvenile Probation Department in Texas, where she held roles with increasing responsibility including shift supervisor, training and education coordinator, administrative supervisor, accreditation and compliance officer, casework manager, division manager, and division director. Baptiste holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Texas at Austin.
