Facility Leader: Fred Figueroa, Warden
Fred Figueroa was named Warden at Diamondback Correctional Facility in September 2025, after serving as warden at Eloy Detention Center since March 2019, and previously at Otay Mesa Detention Center. He joined CoreCivic in 1999 as assistant warden, quickly rising to warden roles at several facilities including Whiteville, Correctional Treatment Facility, North Fork, and Tallahatchie County. Before joining CoreCivic, Figueroa spent 18 years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, progressing from correctional officer to senior warden, and also served three years in the U.S. Marine Corps.
