Facility Leader: Christopher Chestnut, Warden
Christopher Chestnut was named warden of Nevada Southern Detention Facility in November 2022. Previously, he served as assistant warden at Northeast Ohio Correctional Center. Having joined CoreCivic in 1995, Chestnut has more than 27 years of corrections experience, during which he has served in the roles of correctional officer, senior correctional officer, assistant shift supervisor, shift supervisor, quality assurance manager, chief of unity management, and chief of security.
