Facility Leader: Sidney Carter, Warden
Sidney Carter was named warden of Coffee Correctional Facility (CCF) in May 2025. Carter previously served as warden of Jenkins Correctional Center. He joined CoreCivic in 2002 as a correctional officer at CCF. Carter held key positions during his tenure with CoreCivic, including assistant warden at Adams County Correctional Center, South Central Correctional Center, Stewart Detention Center, Coffee Correctional Facility and Trousdale Turner Correctional Center. He also served as director of interdiction at the CoreCivic Facility Support Center. Before joining CoreCivic, he worked with the Georgia Department of Corrections.
