Facility Leader: Faynett Anderson, Facility Director
Faynett Anderson was named facility director at Dallas Transitional Center in March 2022. Previously, Anderson served as assistant facility director at Dallas Transitional. Anderson began her corrections career in 2001 as a correctional officer at the Kansas Department of Corrections. In 2003, Anderson joined CoreCivic as a correctional officer at Leavenworth Detention Center, where she also served as transportation officer, senior correctional officer, case manager, and unit manager. In 2016, Anderson was promoted to program facilitator/grievance investigator at Fort Worth Transitional Center. Later that year, she became manager of Quality Assurance in a joint role at both Dallas Transitional and Fort Worth Transitional.
