Facility Leader: Danny Coronado, Facility Leader

Danny Coronado was named facility director of Austin Transitional Center in June 2025. He brings more than 23 years of experience spanning county, state and federal contracting agencies, including the U.S. Marshals Service, Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the Federal Bureau of Prisons. He began his career as a correctional officer and advanced through successive leadership roles to become a senior warden. Coronado holds a degree in organizational management from Lubbock Christian University and studied human sciences at Texas Tech University.
