Orlando Perez was named warden at Laredo Processing Center in July 2016. Most recently, he was warden at Willacy County State Jail, where he was also an assistant warden. Perez joined CoreCivic in 2003 following a 27-year career with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, where he began as a correctional officer and promoted through the ranks to senior warden II.
