Trinity Minter, Warden

Facility Leader: Trinity Minter, Warden

Trinity Minter was named warden at West Tennessee Detention Facility in June 2025. Warden Minter began her career at Whiteville Correctional Facility in 1998 as a correctional officer and has since served in various capacities including, senior correctional officer, correctional counselor, unit manager, quality assurance manager and chief of unit management. She joined the Tennessee Department of Corrections as a warden in 2014 at Mark Luttrell Transition Center. She transferred to Women's Therapeutic Residential Center before being promoted to correctional administrator for Privately Managed Facilities. Most recently she served as the correctional administrator for TDOC's west Tennessee region facilities.  Warden Minter is a graduate of Lane College and has a master's degree in social work from Union University.

Tipton County Chamber of Commerce; Southern States Correctional Association; Mason Police Department (Reserves); North American Association of Wardens and Carl Perkins Center; Bureau of Prison's Mid-Atlantic Division; local Lions Club; local March of Dimes; Kwanis International; Fraternal Order of Police, Covington Chapter.

Facility Awards

Received plaque from March of Dimes; Received Emerald Award and plaque from the Carl Perkins Abuse Prevention Center; Publication in Salvation Army newsletter for donating to a needy family at Christmas.
