Facility Leader: Todd Thomas, Warden
Todd Thomas was named warden at Saguaro Correctional Center in 2017. Most recently, Thomas served as warden at Metro-Davidson County Detention. Prior, Thomas served as warden at Trousdale Turner Correctional Center, Saguaro Correctional Center, and Coffee Correctional Facility. He joined CoreCivic in 1990 as a correctional officer at Winn Correctional Center, where he was also a recreation supervisor, field supervisor, dog sergeant and SORT member. Thomas later became shift supervisor at Metro, where he was also a SORT commander. He left the company briefly to work at Scapa Forming Fabrics in the sales/service Southwest Region, and he returned to CoreCivic as assistant chief of security at Winn. Thomas was promoted to assistant warden at Coffee Correctional Center before returning to Winn as assistant warden. Thomas currently serves as Co-Chair on the legislative committee and legal committee for the American Correctional Association. He previously served as a member for the Restrictive Housing Committee that worked on the most recent standards for ACA. He was formerly the president for the North American Association of Wardens and Superintendents.
