The CoreCivic Foundation held its 35th annual Golf Classic on October 1 in Old Hickory, Tennessee. The tournament raised more than $1 million this year, and every dollar is granted to 75 non-profit organizations that support justice-involved individuals, victims of crime and abuse, and at-risk youth. More than $14 million has been raised for charity since the event's inception in 1991.
"We're honored to support a record number of community organizations that help justice-involved individuals, victims of crime and abuse, and at-risk youth," said Tony Grande, chairman of the CoreCivic Foundation. "The success of this year's tournament was made possible by our generous partners."
