Becoming a Man of Integrity: Speaker Shares Father's Day Message with CoreCivic Residents

When a justice-involved individual enters our care, it is often because they made one or several mistakes. However, those mistakes do not define them, and it is up to them to decide how the rest of their journey will unfold as citizens, employees, husbands, and fathers. That was the message of Baron Warren, a motivational speaker who visited CoreCivic’s Trousdale Turner Correctional Center in Hartsville, Tennessee, ahead of Father's Day.

As the president of Cuts & Coaching, Warren visits locations such as schools and correctional facilities to talk about the importance of taking responsibility and making the choice to act with integrity.

“A lot of guys, like myself, didn’t have father figures in our lives, and we didn’t have good examples,” Warren said. “Today I wanted to give them a tangible example of what it means to be a man of integrity.”

Warren’s speech at Trousdale Turner was recorded, and a DVD was sent to other CoreCivic facilities to be viewed in time for Father’s Day.
