At CoreCivic's Crossroads Correctional Center in Shelby, Montana, a standout vocational program teaches inmates carpentry skills. The program is all the more impactful because participants can earn nationally recognized certifications to help them find employment after release.
One program participant, Josh, will return to the community with three certifications. "Even though I've had troubles in my life, I've still continued to push forward," he said. "I think change is possible for anyone."
