While serving a three-year prison sentence, Kenneth Ludolph decided to turn his life around. He started by advancing his education. When he was transferred to CoreCivic's Oklahoma City Transitional Center, employees helped Kenneth earn a high school equivalency diploma and then enroll in classes at Oklahoma City Community College.

Today, Kenneth continues to pursue an associate degree and he recently received a prestigious, national honor: The COABE 2019 Outstanding Adult Learner of the Year Award.

"When I found out that I got the Adult Learner of the Year Award, I was overcome with joy and happiness in knowing that all my hard work and dedication was starting to pay off and with the help of others, I've been able to get to where I'm at today," Kenneth said.
