Second Chance Transformation through Faith, Patience, and Perseverance

CoreCivic | 4/9/26 11:30 AM

Ronson Griffin, who was once a resident at Wheeler Correctional Facility in Alamo, Georgia, shared his testimony of recovery and faith after having completed CoreCivic's Go Further Release program. Ronson was released from Wheeler in the fall of 2023, supported by the life coaching services offered through Go Further Release. Since then, he's founded a faith-based non-profit organization in Tennessee, Uplift Ministries, which supports individuals in recovery and community members who are facing tough times, whether financially, emotionally, or spiritually. And in November 2025, Ronson opened the House of Redemption—an organization dedicated to serving individuals undergoing reentry, providing them housing and support. Ronson continues to walk the road of faith and recovery himself and remains dedicated to helping others do the same.

"Anybody can come out of the labels that have been placed on them and become the best versions of themselves," said Ronson.
