Giving Back

At CoreCivic, community support is a big part of who we are as a company. Whether it is through time or resources, we look for meaningful ways to give back to the communities where we live and work. Take a look at how we are supporting our neighbors during COVID-19. We will continue to add to this list, so check back often!

Employee Efforts

  • An employee at CoreCivic's headquarters donated dozens of hand-sewn face masks to local first responders.
  • An employee at CoreCivic's headquarters shops and delivers groceries to the homes of elderly and disabled individuals in the community several times each week.
  • Staff at our South Central facility in Clifton, Tenn., assembled care packages containing nonperishable food items, toilet paper, and more for donation to home-bound seniors in the community at greater risk of contracting COVID-19. These packages will be assembled weekly.
  • Our South Central facility donated 10 cases of toilet paper to two local assisted living communities.
