With health protocols in place, including social distancing, mandatory health screenings upon entry, face masks and hand sanitizer, CoreCivic held its annual Chairman's Charity Golf Classic on October 1 in support of the CoreCivic Foundation. Despite the economic impact brought forth nationally by the COVID-19 pandemic, the event raised $575,000 – funds that will go to a group of 29 non-profit organizations in Tennessee that help support formerly incarcerated individuals, victims of crime and abuse, and underserved youth.
